What’s all the excitement is about?
The Kids Training Team along with the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services Children’s Mental Health Team, the Training Advisory Group and Title XIX were excited to host the 4th Annual Statewide Young @ Art Expo ~ Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Hilton Wichita Airport Executive Conference Center.

More than 50 artists and their families will be honored at the evening’s events with over 160 original works of art on display submitted by children and teens from all Community Mental Health Centers throughout Kansas. The Kids Training Team introduces the 4th Annual Statewide Young @ Art Expo. The Art Expo reflects the talents and creativity of youth in Kansas, and enhances the public’s view of mental health services across the state. Additionally, the Expo provides a gallery where we can showcase the original creations of Kansas kids. We are pleased to announce that this year’s “Celebrating Hope” calendar has been awarded the gold award in the National Calendar Awards Competition ~ Children’s Division.
